Certification
Proven first class.
If you have to do it, then do it properly! Certifications ensure compliance with internal and external standards for modern companies, helping them maintain and further improve the quality of their work and products. Numerous certificates and standards can be used to demonstrate the quality of work in many different areas. We will support you on your journey to certification and in the continuous fulfilment of all standards and requirements.
Qualität
Top quality.
Always.
Quality and its consistent implementation are a must for any organisation to satisfy customers, both today and tomorrow. For this purpose, correct project procedures as well as a structured and transparent approach are indispensable: systematic processes allow permanent performance assurance and improvement.
ISO 9001 certification is essential for such quality management. It proves that an organisation’s quality management system meets the requirements and expectations of customers, shareholders, employees and public authorities with regard to delivered products and services. ISO 9001 certification is thus visible evidence of continuous efforts to achieve steady performance improvement.
Safety
Health & safety at work.
At all levels.
ISO 45001
ISO 45001 certification provides evidence that a company has implemented a dynamic health and safety management system meeting the requirements of the standard.
VCA
There are already numerous safety management systems certifying that contractors have taken preventive measures to minimise safety risks to employees and clients. The VCA safety management system was developed in the Netherlands for companies in the petrochemical industry and primarily targets companies in areas of activity associated with increased risks. To gain VCA safety certification, a contractor must meet certain criteria, compliance with which is verified via questionnaires and audits by an officially approved certification body such as Vinçotte Luxembourg.
Covid-19 Safe Zone
Vinçotte is offering a new service: ‘COVID-19 Safe Zone’ labelling
Studies show that more than 20% of workers are against coming to work when they have doubts about their employer’s approach to the Covid-19 pandemic and the workplace measures taken to fight it.
For Vinçotte, the health and safety of you yourself and your staff are of paramount importance. This led us to design our COVID-19 audit. Our experts audit the organisational changes made, the processes you have developed and how they came about, guided by government policies. We also provide advice in the event of any organisational deficiencies being found.
Following a positive assessment of the correct application of the health & safety measures, you will be awarded the COVID-19 Safe Zone label. You can show this label and use it in your external communications. In doing so, you provide a guarantee to your staff, customers and suppliers that you apply the specific health & safety measures, thereby reducing the risk of a critical business downturn.
Though the label is no guarantee of the absence of contamination, it is proof that an employer is applying all necessary health & safety measures. This proof can be communicated to staff, customers and suppliers.
With the COVID-19 Safe Zone label, Vinçotte helps companies keep COVID risks under control.
What are the advantages of the COVID-19 Safe Zone label?
•It allows you to clearly communicate to your customers and suppliers that the necessary health & safety measures are being applied to limit the risks associated with COVID-19.
•Moreover, you clearly demonstrate to your staff that all measures have been taken to create a safe working environment.
•You reduce the risk of a critical disruption to your business activities following a COVID-19 outbreak in your organisation.
•You reduce the risk of damaging your reputation.
•You are better prepared for any future pandemics.
What is checked during a COVID-19 audit?
The COVID-19 audit consists of three parts:
•Vinçotte assesses how you are organised to manage COVID-19 risks. What is management doing in this respect? Who is responsible for monitoring the measures? Who ensures the availability of masks, disinfectant gel, etc.? How well are you prepared for any changes to the health & safety measures to be applied?
•Vinçotte checks which health & safety measures have been taken, in line with the hazards on site.
•Vinçotte checks whether the health & safety measures are being applied.
A company has gained the COVID-19 Safe Zone label. What does this mean?
•Companies with the COVID-19 Safe Zone label acknowledge that COVID-19 poses a health threat to their customers, employees and suppliers.
•The Company’s management is committed to minimising the risks associated with COVID-19.
•These companies have developed a COVID-19 control system to ensure that the measures taken are tailored to the company’s specific situation and that they can manage the COVID-19 pandemic.
•The supervisory system ensures that these companies are able to guarantee the application of long-term health & safety measures.
•The health & safety measures are applied in practice and there is a monitoring system to control application.
•The label is valid for 12 months, calculated from the date on which the label is issued.
Environment
Environmental-friendly.
Certified and sustainable.
ISO 14001
The ISO 14001 certificate is proof that a company has implemented an environmental management system, with all its activities with an impact on the environment managed in accordance with ISO requirements.
EMAS
EMAS is a voluntary EU system for the environmental management and environmental auditing of companies. It provides recognition to companies wanting to sustainably improve their environmental performance and committing to making the relevant information publicly available.
It requires, among other things, an audit of operations, interviews with employees, and a comprehensive review of the documentation. Based on the data collected during an audit, Vinçotte can confirm conformity of the environmental management system, the environmental audit and the environmental policy statement needed for EMAS recognition. In addition, we can check the reliability of all information provided in the environmental policy statement, ensuring that all environmental issues have been taken into account.
Building sustainably
Building sustainably.
Living sustainably.
DGNB International
Sustainability is a key challenge for modern society. The principles of sustainable action can also be integrated into construction projects. However, this requires that a number of concepts be considered in all aspects of a project. The DGNB (German Sustainable Building Association) certification system applicable in Germany forms the basis for the “DGNB International” certification, with certification taking account of national regulations. Here, too, we support project planners and builders in all matters.
Monitoring regulations
In compliance with the law.
At all times and verifiable.
We keep track for you! To do this, we create an inventory of all statutory regulations and supplementary provisions in the area of health & safety and environmental protection affecting you and your company. This list includes, among other things, operating permits, Luxembourg decrees and applicable standards.
For this purpose, all documents are listed in a table with the following fields:
- Reference text
- Regulatory level (national, European)
- Area (health & safety, environmental protection, other)
In addition, we monitor the relevant statutory regulations and supplementary provisions and their development at predefined intervals, with all changes recorded in a table. We also create an overview of all changes affecting your activities. The table contains the following information in addition to the relevant documents:
- Reference text
- Regulatory level (national, European)

“Gréng Energie”: ILR
When electrical energy is generated from renewable energy sources and resold by the producer, its traceability must be guaranteed. For this purpose, a certificate of origin can be requested from the Institut Luxembourgeois de Régulation (ILR). Within the context of the certification, inspection visits of the installations are necessary. As a recognised body, Vinçotte Luxembourg can conduct these.
