Declaration of impartiality

Impartiality and objectivity: these go without saying. However, we go one step further, committing to a declaration of impartiality based on our accreditations.

• All of our employees sign an undertaking to demonstrate impartiality and objectivity.

• Likewise, when working with consulting firms, we check accreditation requirements and analyse conflicts of interest. Various control mechanisms are used to avoid or limit partiality.

Integrity and compliance

Vinçotte strives to offer its customers a spirit of trust and integrity at all times. For this reason, Vinçotte has adopted and implemented a Compliance Programme defining the rules of technical and professional conduct and ethics applied by Vinçotte.

The Compliance Code defines the general principles of professional integrity and lists all core business values shared throughout our organisation.

The Compliance Code applies to all our employees, line managers and corporate management. All aspects of the Code not specifically concerning our employees must also be observed by (sub)contractors, consultants, freelancers, joint venture partners, and other persons acting on behalf of or representing Vinçotte.
To ensure the effectiveness of its Compliance Code, Vinçotte subjects it to an annual independent internal and external review.

Each and every Vinçotte employee is required to read the Compliance Code, including our internal charter, and to respect its principles. Each year, employees complete an interactive online training programme covering the principles of the Compliance Code and the internal charter.

Any employee or external party may report concerns or suspected violations of the Compliance Code at any time. Employees are encouraged to voice their concerns to their line manager. In addition, Vinçotte has appointed a Compliance Officer who may be contacted in confidence at any time under the Compliance Code. Anonymity is guaranteed upon request. Any employee and any external party may contact the Compliance Officer at any time by e-mail at Compliance@vincotte.lu.

Vinçotte guarantees that there will be no retaliation or negative consequences for persons requesting information or reporting a violation of the Code.
